Driver
Okay.. so I'm going to put this as blunt as possible.

I'm tired of seeing people complain about being called posers and whining about someone questioning their driving.

I'm tired of seeing stupid KA-T vs SR battles, if you want to get your butt wet over which engine is best for what, go to NICO or something.

With that being said.. here are a few reasons why I'm making this thread.

This website is called SFLDrifters.com; hence the Drifters part. It's for people who drift. If you drift, that's cool, welcome to the site, hope you enjoy your stay. If you say you drift, but have never been to an event, ANYWHERE.. have no video proof of such drifting, don't go out with the main street sliding groups, but continue to say you are a drifter and critque other actual drifters, you will just have to deal with being called a poser until you put up or shut up. It's that simple. If you just want to go talk about drifting and other people drifting, go to Drifting.com or somewhere. If you are just here to sell shit and watch videos, that's cool. Drifters need a lot of stuff, and sometimes interested in other crap non-related to drifting or cars. We appreciate you supplying us with stuff. If you get low-balled, big deal, it's not the end of the world, simply give a polite response No, sorry, looking for more. Don't sit there and cry 3 pages about how much it's worth or how much they go for. If you want that kind of mind frame, here is a link for you WWW.EBAY.COM .

Arguing about which motor is better.... who the fucking hell cares, we're drifters, they are all gonna blow up eventually. If you want to argue about it, please be ready to post proof, not he-say-she-say bullcocky, take that crap over to NICO or somewhere other than HERE.

And last but not least, if you have an excuse everytime an event comes around to why you arent driving, but then don't go out to any street sessions with the guys, you are a whiney little poser unless your name is Dan (in that case it is understood and acceptable).

P.S.

Starting October, I will be taking 6* people out sliding every Saturday night in various locations from Opa-Locka to Downtown Ft. Lauderdale for street sessions and hit-n-runs. If you are interested, get in contact with me, NO, I repeat NO! people allowed to come "just to watch". If you arent gonna slide, you aren't invited. (Drivers permitted 1 passenger per car). It is on the street, if you mess up, you could damage your car, if the cops show up, you could get a ticket. If nothing happens, you had fun and learned some new tricks.

*only 6 cars allowed per spot, no need to attract unwanted attention by traveling in bigger packs than 6. Will rotate if enough people are interested. Will be during late night hours ranging anywhere from but not limited to 9PM-4AM.

If interested, please contact me.

While I mostly agree with dan, theres one part that I don't necessarily agree on.

I don't expect everyone in this forum to be actual drifters. There will be those who like and enjoy the sport but don't necessarily do it. These are spectators and I see no need to be bashing them. They as well are an essential part to the drift community. So if spectators want to talk about drifting, then I see no reason for them not to do so here. But if they start criticizing actual drifters without reasonable cause, then thats definitely a problem.

That's fine, but when someone who is a spectator starts telling someone oh, you need to be going faster, or you suck blah blah blah crappy vid go buy a honda, they should save it for themselves since they don't drift, who the hell gave them the idea they know how to drift... just because they watched the Drift Bible and the first 3 stages of Initial D? Watching and doing are two completely different tasks. It's easy to watch someone do it and critique, but if you are going to be negative and not have the balls to try it yourself, then you get deemed poser.

And as a matter of fact, I think we should have a new member group called Posers for the forum so that way when people start acting dumb, they get what they deserve. :D :bigthumbu :D

Then I should be labeled as a Poser as well. :ugh:

I say a member's titles should be changed to "Poser" by majority vote.

i third that

yea i agree with what bladder master says about spectators and blah blah blah on the forum.

and i agree with dan's responce to bladders statement

Everyone should be labled poser until they have crossed over to the drifter side. lol it will make me feel that much more special.

Hey how about if you just make Sfldrifters a site for you 4 or 5 guys that have posted so far... looks like you all 3 or 4 agree or just make sfldrifters for only "the reall drifters" and you'll have about 30 or maybe 40 members... Just thinking for a solution for all of you!

I agree with Dan, although I am sure most of you think I don't drift. I don't care what people think of me, because I am happy with what I am doing. The point is, I would really like to see this forum become a drifter's community by helping each other out, rather than have someone who just watched Tokyo Drift saying that the drifting in the movie was better than what someone in a video did. I was called an "e-drifter" by someone on here, and I will not point out anyone, but he is still on here. Anyway, I made a dumb comment, but instead of showing me the positive side of what I made the comment of, he decided to insult me. That wasn't too helpful. I am not complaining, and I am not done. If you want to call me an e-drifter, go for it, but I wont take kindly to it. I am not a pro, but I still go out and try my best to have fun. Dan, I will soon join your drift sessions, and make some new friends. I am done crying now......BITCHES!

^ I agree.

I hope no one is taking this personal... I'm always down to help a friend that likes cars, regardless of drifting or not. But like mentioned by Dan and the others that have joined him, I believe this forum is for drifting.

Edit: F*ck zak... why do you have to get in the way... I gotta quote Dan now.
