How many people slide with open diff???

if im thinking of where this is going then you should weld your lsd for an affordable price because im sure you have an open differential right?

Ya I'm not gonna have enough time to have it
welded before countyline, so I wanted to see how
many other people rock the 1 tire fire

im sure their probably sliders here and there that do the one wheelo dorifto but if i were you i would just get out there and have fun even if its open diff because for me i have the same problemo. btw if its the countryline on june 8th id say there is plenty of time for that. :bigthumbu

where u at??
Im not worried about left turns because the car slides
out real nice on left handers but the right turns it sucks.
Oh well maybe if I finish the brakes early I'll take out the
diff and weld it.

not enough time? It takes one hour to remove diff and 1hour to reinstall and maybe a half hour to have it welded. local weding shop charged me 20 for the welding, because my welder was to weak to penetrate the diff. so i think you have plenty of time.

I still have a lot of things to finish up, poly bushings
all around, change all the brakes, fab up coilovers for the
front supension and make new seat brackets to put
my seat lower.
But ya it's quick to take it out of so I'll probably have time
to get it welded.
I could even welded myself but I dont know what the hell
to weld together, would a tig even fit in to get inside???

fuck that , ive run open before, def more fun...

as a matter a fact, ive never had an lsd...of any sort

TIG is the proper way to do it and yes there is plenty of room.

I did it for 2 years

make shure that if you do weld your diff,
you do not.
i repeat. DO NOT><
get on the highway when is wet.
anything over 50mph. and ull wreck.
over 45 mph the smallest pothole, or smallest pond of water that hits one tire will make it loose it and therefore make the other one loose it.
and then is crash time.

i wrecked a 240 like 2 years ago,. just like that. so if you must. stop on the side and wait till it stops raining then drive like 40 with ur parking lights. on.
