I got an idea! Get a job, and buy shit yourself. It's YOUR car and YOUR preferences. Don't do shit because someone else likes it, but because you like it.

Not trying to be a dick, but it's the fucking truth. And if daddy doesn't want you to work, I just plainly feel bad for you, cuz you gotta be stuck with his taste (which apparently sucks).
 
Please don't put MB weapons on your car. If you're gonna get crappy MB wheels, at least get Battles in 17x9.5 +15 all the way around. They're not gonna stick out if you have coilovers and can adjust camber. Don't spend money on 8" wide wheels for your car.

I AM NOT ABLE TO WORK while I am in school. I worked all summer and saved my money which is all going in to my car, and the REASON I cannot not work is becasue I have an Autoimmune disease called Sjogrens Syndrome along with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. These are incurable. Every day is a struggle for me! Its hard for me to go a whole day without being completely exhausted and in pain. To try and balance school with a job would be suicide.

My dad is trying to help me. I've driven events on a basically stock car, yes, but when it comes to actually building a car and all that, I'm pretty much clueless. I'm learning. And I'm not afraid to admit that. My dad and I are working together because he really wants to help make this work for me and all of you talking shit is just ridiculous! You have no idea what is happening in my life or the things I'm going through so why do you come in here and judge thinking I'm just some spoiled little girl having daddy doing everything for me.

I do what I am able to do so SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE.
 
I was gonna say get a job but nevamind.

If your gonna need spacers, then you minus well go wider. If you cant then thats just too bad for ya. Just get what you can get for now.

Relax. Don't get mad now. How am I supposed to know what's going on in your life? I assumed you had a normal life, but now that I see what's going on, that isn't the case. So I am sorry about all that. I was just suggesting getting a job, and not having to fight about what you want vs. what your dad wants. Yeah, maybe I did word it all wrong and put it out there harshly, but you gotta see how you put yourself out there too. Made me think that maybe he didn't want you to work, but now I know that isn't the case. So sorry.

I put up a small question and was attacked. I mean, seriously. I might get the MBs, I might not. All I wanted to know was do they clear Z brakes. Everything else isn't really anyone elses business.

You and others, yes, probably. Me, no. I am not a fan boy. I have bought like 3 things for my car for looks. Tail lights, a kit(wich I sold) and paint.
I size my wheels and tires for how I drive and my power output. I dont size my tires for what looks good or how good of a stretch it will be.

laws of physics apply in all forms of motorsports, to those that exist and that have yet to. so believe it or not an autoX setup is closer to a drift car than a stock car. hell as long as its rear wheel drive and has some power having fun drifting is very possible, and thats what really matters. most people dont get into drifting for the money thats for sure. a car setup by a person who doesnt know everything about drifting may not be "optimal" but hey if it works then it works. i'd say if your not a person planning on going big with it, it dont matter if its most optimal.

some people are just born with something up their but.:cool:

Whats the big deal with running a 10 mm spacers? I would rather have free rims and run spacers, but if it was my money i'd rather get them to fit right.

8 vs 9 inch wheel. most people run stretched tires anyway so a 205,215 stretches on either (who cares) and your probably not going to run 275s for drifting anyway.

... i had these on my old zenki.. they obviously will fit z-brakes. I know your not asking about looks and stuff but i thought they looked good on my old zenki. they come staggered from the factory but if you can find 4 fronts that would work and they will fit decent as well.. Only problem is 7.5in. may not be what your looking for..

^^^thanks for the info. I don't really care for those wheels and I'm definitely going wider than that, but its good to know.

If I could afford what I REALLY wanted, I would probably go for some TE37s or Gram lights lol. But, Those are out of the price range.
