PBIR Drift event Sept 24th

yea with a 115mph i could see maybe maybe a 12.2 but 10.2 no way unless he shut it down just past the 1/8 lol.

^^^ exactly back when my car was stock sr , i made 50 passes on it at moroso. i ran 13.2 at 105.. once out of 50, all the others where in the 13.4-13.6 range, mph was about the same 102-104

I did a 13.8 at 108 with my maf wires cut and no meth. Also my turbo takes about 3 gears to spool up. Time for a WOT box or some kind of two step.

And Jerry they literally just looked at my car and said pass. So you will be fine

There not as strick as they used to be

anybody have good in car videos of ebrake entries in an underpowered car?

underpowered shouldnt make a difference, you would just have to wait longer to start slide cuz you would be slower getting there...
the technique is about the same but you REALLY have to keep revs up a good amount with clutch in/erake up so when its time to drop ebrake, youre already in power band

*also, for a LONG ebrake entry, its /usually/ best to pump it a few times to adjust angle and keep slide- without draggin off too much speed. but there is a 'feel' you have to get for it. sometimes its a long hold to a pump to a hold, sometimes its pump pump pump, sometimes its hump hump pump hump skeet skeet blam.

yea this is what ive been told. ive slid skidpad and countyline big track but never really used my ebrake. and it locks decent. im just going to have to get use to the feel. thanks for the advice though

^ if its not locking well (mine never was awesome in my sr car), use a tiny 5%-10% foot brake to help it with that hydraulic power. not too much cuz you are then also slowing the front wheels and losing momentum. again, its a feeling thing. i used this technique at PBIR when we did the comp/demos there hitting speeds of 90-100mph and entering from 250-300ft range markers.

Same here alex. I've just been practicing using the ebrake in some secluded areas for the past 2 weeks to get used to the feeling of going 60+ and going sideways lol. I was wondering about ride alongs too... Anyone know what's up?
