Yea bearcat most people done understand, a breakin is only as good as its built. A well built motor would only need 30 to 45 mins to break it in... only needs time for the rings to seat.... most ppl are like well the bearings need to seat too... if your bearings show anywear withing the first...

I don't think tandem should be part of the competition, I mean id love to see a tandem session, but it did not say iit in the flyer, and its not a qualifying event. Some ppl like me, would be effed w/o a cage. I don't have the monies, and I've already registered.

i only have 1.6 litres of hell.... tis much fun under boost! in a ae86 hatch... makes for one of the lightest cars... but ls1 kicks total ass :/

+2 on boost leaks, that's where you get the sputtering from on 25% throttle and the horrible gas mileage.. on top of that, 90% of the time, valve stem seals will only leak when the car starts up.. there are exceptions to the rule... rings could be holding good pressure but your oil rings could...
