Yeah, that should work. I thought about placing it near the back, behind the fuel pump cover. That way it wouldn't be in the way of tires being loaded and unloaded.

I want mine in the trunk because of better weight distribution and I want the rear seats to be usable.

Alright, so I got a battery box and sorta made my own kit, etc, but now I have another problem. Where can i place the box in my S13 Hatch such that it doesn't interfere with trunk space too much and allows for decent access to the battery? I was thinking of placing it in the location pictured...
