Don't mess with it too much or it will screw up your rear suspension geometry. On a slammed car about 10mm longer than a stock traction rod is a good starting point.

Hmmm perhaps there is a basecoat which allows for wetsanding? Anything that is just a flat color and not a metallic or anything of that sort.

Yea I'm waiting on a set of the V2s as the first don't really go too low. They ride really nice though I have them on my girl's car and its super comfortable.
