yeah whoever told you that is stupid thats like me hand tightened my head studs you dont need to torque them if you have a torque wrench those bolts down to 8 pounds the same as the cam bracket bolt put some rtv on the threads so they dont back out and torque them to 8 pounds end of story

i dont think is your bolts i think its there being tightened to much cause really bolts dont get shitty unless there tightened and have been stretched you only need to hand tight thats it just snug it put some rtv on the threads to keep them from backing out

im pretty sure u have checked all the wires for cuts or shit like that make sure everything is making good contact ?
