I daily my welded about 70 miles a day in any weather and I don't even notice it.. Weld your fucking diff. Its not only cheaper, its more effective too. -

Rear Ring and Pinion
I would think in a car with 450ftlbs or torque, you would wand a longer gear since spinning it won't be hard, plus you get the benefit of faster wheel spin per gear and higher speeds per gear. Just my theory I guess, you guys got any insight?
