Just buy new lenses. Do it right the first time. Don't cheap out. Not sure about nikon but a Canon replacement in that focal range is going to run you atleast $550-600 for the 17-40 f4L. Lenses aren't cheap either.....well atleast good ones and like I said buy good glass first. You'll save money...

I don't know why the z is OOF because it was def shot at like f7 or 8. When I was working on the shot I kept looking at the exif data in lightroom. I really wish I would've had more time to shoot those cars and everyone knew what was going on. We were going way to fast for my liking.

Yes up front it will cost more for a highend dslr but in the long run it won't. Also how many times have you been to a party or something where you don't feel like lugging around your dslr oh then don't think about when you want a wide shot and then to zoom in. Eekk you gotta change lenses...

There's a bit more to shooting than just taking the picture and knowing the camera. photoshop/lightroom/whatever editing program goes hand and hand with digital photography as using a darkroom goes with film photography.

Really nice work. The darkness works well with this car. I wish my company would let me branch out and be more creative with my shoots.
