    My car's going bye-bye

That's the support I appreciate form this forum, you guys will definitely know how hatever I choose turns out because I'll be "testing" it just as I did with my Corolla at the SFL-affiliated events. I'm just deciding on whether I want the 323 or the Festiva. The Festiva is a penny-pincher's...

    My car's going bye-bye

Yo guys, I know it's been a bit since anyone's even seen me, and I'm sure I made some sort of impression on people by bringing an underpowered FWD Corolla and doing what I can with it -- but unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have to sell it. As much as I loved the little sedan and its...

Ter-Tech presents a 2 Day Drift practise at a parking lot

Man, have I been missing out. My car is unfortunately on its last legs so I haven't been able to make any effort to make it to any of the past few events... and it doesn't look any different for this one. I hope the insurance company makes nice and lets it happen! :)

Ter-Tech videos from Orlando and promo for the next event

Dania Jai-Alai? I'm there. I'll have new shocks, and I'll have at least one of my swaybars in by then. And its right around my neighborhood. I'd be stupid to pass this up.

Ter-tech Competition In Orlando Speedworld Sept. 25th

So true, but in this case I want to make good use of it by saving the money to stick a juicy 3SGTE in my car's engine bay. In any other case, I'd go, but at the moment I'm tied up with things --- thanks for the encouragement either way, man. A revelation: AE86's and AE92's are not the same...

Ter-tech Competition In Orlando Speedworld Sept. 25th

The event I've been long waiting for and I won't be able to make it. As much as I wanna go, my car is currently far too underpowered in its current state for this one, and I'm also working on that day. I won't be attending any Orlando events until after the 3SGTE conversion is done to my car, so...

New drift event area (continued from last forum)

All I have to say about this, personally, is that all I want to do is just drive my car and have fun without the fear of police intervening -- whether its in a public area or a track. In the end, for me, any publicity is a bonus; I'm there to practice my driving skills and have a good time.

    1986 Mr. Dos (MR2) friends car (p:H)

I envy both his cars. I find them beautiful. Especially the cute little hatch -- is that an early-model Corolla? Either way, I still think it's a very cute and distinguished car.

whoa asian people got it bad in cali as car tuners...

Redline's response easily summarized my whole point of view in my hobby in driving. I wish there was some way to tell the officials that more tracks = lessened illegal driving activity, on the part of us "car guys" in the same sense that Redline described them.

whoa asian people got it bad in cali as car tuners...

let's have a drift competition against the Miami-Dade and Broward County Police department --- that'll show them that some of us are more than just punks with loud exhaust pipes. It'll never happen of course, but this blind hatred is just too unfair.

Gotta love those new bmw owners...

That is the exact reason that this is the only forum I take part in. I wonder what attracts so many people from other forums to that particular one though.

whoa asian people got it bad in cali as car tuners...

Not if they realize it has too many faults. If someone high enough be it a statesman or a car manufacturer makes a stand and realizes that this can easily be the grounds of controversy and / or affect car sales, they won't go that far. Makes me wonder, though: they didn't do this in thes with...

whoa asian people got it bad in cali as car tuners...

I agree with the direction of this thread. The police are appearing to be hypocrites. And after reading that article and Redline's anecdote, it's evident that the CHP utilizes a ticket-quota system. I don't see why anyone doesn't intervene -- anybody who enjoys cars will be susceptible. I don't...

    what size rims

as much as everyone else had said so far, the 15's are more practical. Lighter, cheaper, and I'm sure they will still give you better handling than say stock or even heavy rims if you're not packing much horsepower.

    My dream car

Nice rides, lol. Yea, the 930S is indeed gonna be a hard one to find. But then again, thats why I constantly try to focus on what I have than on what I want. I can "want" any car, but thats not gonna make what I have any better.

Yea true, at least it's affordable to tow your vehicle home from the Millenium or Hialeah Speedway--- but from Ocala? Ouch.

    My dream car

Yea bro, the new Z06 looks killer. But for some reason, I'm also stuck on older models; like the R32 Skyline. Just way more appealing to me, it has the whole Japanese-muscle-car vibe to it. Same thing with FCs as well. I like them a bit more than the FDs. And yea, if only I could find a 930S...

    My dream car

I usually keep to myself about my ambitions and goals, because, frankly, not everyone cares, but for the sake of participating in the forums, I thought I'd post as well as ask about dream car(s). I love my car dearly, and I don't even plan to sell it (can't bear the thought), but as soon as...
