when i pulled a coilpack at the third cylinder the knock went away or it got very low and under the valvecover i didnt find anything wrong so im pulling the motor out as soon as i sober up...

dont have a gauge but when i pulled the valvecover a tund the motor over whituot the plugs oil was comeing good on the rails so i think i got good oil pressure

i post pictures tommorow when i pull the valvecover but the noise is random sometimes its comes on low and then sometimes very sharp like metal on metal and it comes different rpm but nothing when its idels

its comes from the top for sure but when i pulled the valvecover it look fine

its sucks i only drove the car a week and a half since i got the swap

yes its a leak at the manifold im ordering a 7 layer exhaust mani gasket and torqe the bolts again thank

my engine started knocking yesterday on my way home its only doing it around 2k rpm and ist sounds like its comeing from the top of the engine i pulled the valve cover everything looks fine any idea what could be the problem about the motor it has been rebult by previus owner 5k miles ago

the same thing happend to me there is a peace of insolation under the bolt thats keeps the power from shorting out thruw the chase just disconect it try to center it so it dont touch the altrenator body and check if still doing it
