Same thing happened to me. It hit the downpipe and pushed the entire exhaust system back about 5 inches :mad: Had to rethread the bolts. Dings all over the piping. Bent under strut bars.

Driving around late one night I found a few Sand Deposits/ Quarries with great winding trails, so I decided to try out the off road qualities of the Evo. I must say that sliding around a turn in the dirt at about 50 is pure driving ectasy. Here are some pics of the aftermath.
