nope the amp is a lil box dolted onto the driver side door with a plug and wires leading to the window motor.

lol if you press the window button and hear a click the the window motor needs to be changed. if you press the window button and hear a electric motor sound the ur window motor is good and the amp is bad.

If you hear a click but no window movement then thats ur window amp working and not the motor. so window motor needs to be replaced, you said you hear a electric sound so im guessing thats the window motor and ur window amp is dead.
