+1 on the HKS ssqv. i've had mine for a year and some months before i crashed and during that time frame, i haven't had any problems with it and no lagging between shifts that i can note on. it was atmospheric as well as hot side mounted

i have this same problem... my steering rod touches my exhaust manifold so it vibrates when i make right turns... and now my driver mount is on its way out. so im assuming the mounts would be the likely cause of you issue.

about 36 inchs from the turbo so it would end up being like right under the center console or a lil before it and at a 10 degree angle. reason being is because the closer it is to the turbo the more likely you are to burn out the sensor because of the heat. this was recommended by AEM...
