    Yeah the rods are much weaker than non vvti. So if you plan on boosting it in the future, then you might as well look for a pre98 2jz.

    any have stance coilovers

    I'm running stance gr+ pro on my sc300. They are great coilovers. Perfect for daily driving and the track. On my car I can go as low as putting the wheel well on the tires.

    I've used royal purple on my 240sx and now my SC on both engine and tranny and never had a problem.

    sc300 steering

    It is supposed to tighten up at higher speeds. If your speedo doesn't work then it would think you're at a stop. So your steering will feel loose. The best thing to do is get daizen steering rack bushings. It's pretty cheap and takes like 10-15 minutes to change.

    Since mazworx is on here then they are definitely the fastest and most powerful but their new car is an s15 silvia so that's not a 240sx. Then it would be Jason's (jjrboost) s14 with 2JZ. His best time so far is 8.8.
