Thats not a bad idea, I might have to do that. I was considering trying to take some material from the camber plate itself to get more travel but It's mad thick and I'm pretty much limited to what I can do with a drill. Enlarging those 3 holes will be much easier. Thanks
Fuck, I'm so sick of all this fender pulling. I really don't like doing it, but it has to be done. The rears done, but I can't get the fronts to stop rubbing, I need like a degree more negative camber but my camber plates are maxed out. I really might have to put 1 collar back in the front...
5am update: It's almost ready to drive, I've been playing with the rear fenders to get it where I want it when I bring the camber back out a little. This is what I've had to do to the rear metal inner fenders, they are pounded pretty much flush with the quarter panel most of the way up.
(I...
I wouldn't say I have a hard on for cali, but definitely for that gold coupe, that thing is soo bad... and yes I know I was spinning in a lot of the action shots from countyline, the last couple months I've been practicing on the street I was concentrating more on tossing the car and holding a...
ohh that, yeah I kissed a wall the other night. Ha that shit got my heart going, I made a transfer to close to the wall and the car swung a little wide, it was like wall wall wall, then I just made it by. It's being taken care of very well mechanically, but the body is going to see some damage...
Shits been done, the car has already been mad low for a while. Now it's just slammed.
No it rides good, I'm no where near the bottoming out the shocks on the front or back coils. Yay for full threaded shock bodies :bigthumbu And how exactly did I fuck up the paint?
No I don't rub when I...
well, I made them fit better and I can drive the car but it's not quite there yet. Sorry I only got some more shitty pictures. It scrapes on fucking everything now, my tension rod brackets are taking a beating I've got to get a nice skid plate under it. I'll get some daytime shots tomorrow.
That picture is how it was before. I just lowered it again today, I'm working on the rear fenders now. It will remain at the height in the first set of pictures :bigthumbu I was able to make a lot of room where the inner metal fender is in the back, that's were I kept having rubbing problems...
You guys have no faith, I've been driving the car for 5k miles like this. Skid plate is in the works too, ha I hate speed bumps with a passion, and I hate it even more when people in suv's honk at me when I'm creeping over horrible train tracks.
Yeah I know, It already scrapes everywhere. It's split into 3 different pieces from being previously ravaged that are all ziptied in place, so as long as part of it doesn't fly off and I lose it I should be good. There will be lots of bending and scraping though. Someone needs to make an ebay...
Sorry for the shitty camera phone pictures, my pops has the good camera right now. I lowered the front until the collars were touching but that wasn't low enough so i pulled 2 of the three off both fronts. I'd say the front is down almost and inch and a half from where it was and I lowered the...
Not bad at all, I know it doesn't take as low of an offset to be flush with those compared to an s chassis. If I were you I would run a 5 or even 10mm spacer on the front depending on how much stretch your going to have. The rears on that set poke 9mm more than the front, which isn't crazy...
It is tempting but this car has inspired me to keep my stock fenders as long as possible, plus having a stream of smoke come across your hood while your at full lock is amazing.
Back on topic, TypeArg I'm assuming this is for your is300 right? If so I'm glad you got a set of wheel...
ha, no I'm serious.. my car is at least half an inch lower now and once I stop being lazy and do some clearancing it will be another half an inch lower and all my collars will be touching.:bigthumbu
What he said, you'd be surprised how much pull you can get with a roller. I did a pretty aggressive pull on my fronts with an eastwood.
(please excuse how ridiculously high my car is in this picture)
I always liked s13's that look like this, mismatched colors, gaping panel gaps, big overfenders, proper wheel fitment. Theres just something about it I love. Function > Form!!!
sick you got some video of me, thanks. I was sucking my first couple of runs but I got a few decent runs in at night, and my friend filmed some triple tandem action.
