my friend had that same problem, he replaced his rack bushings which were pretty much gone with polyurethane ones, and the problem went away so in your case.... you're fucked.

just drift the car, if you have a welded its easy as fuck you dont need a crazy suspension set up or a welded to drift, you can learn on stock suspension with an open diff, just practice different techniques and learn what works and doesnt work. i learned on a bone stock s14 no rear sway bar...
