The gasket itself is a gasket. Make sure you scrape all the old one off so the seal is tight. Other than that it's cake.

The motors have already proved to be better than a ka and at boost faster and more reliable than a ka-t. And yes its true all the sc guys ditch their motors but they keep their harnesses and tranny making it more difficult to find those parts.

Glad you and the car is ok. Honestly believe it does have to do with the wheels. I remember your sale thread because you wanted more trackable wheels. I think that is a great option.
