On top of that, his problem doesn't sound motor specific. More like something that could happen to any motor, like swapped spark plug cables.

Switch the spark plug cables running to cylinder 2 and 3 with each other. See if it runs better.

99% sure they use AFMs. And he says it feels like it's loosing power. If it was a slipping clutch it would still rev high but move slow.

    ka drift?

You can have someone ride along at most tracks. Also, you should ride along with people that know what they're doing. Just ask someone to get a ride.

    ka drift?

Most people I know tell me not to waste money on lowering springs. I don't really have all that much experience though, so I can't tell you for sure.

    ka drift?

Yeah, the best thing to really help you learn how to drift is seat time. It's really hard for me to get legitimate seat time, so it's taking me a long time to learn.

    ka drift?

I would probably cut a couple coils off the springs to lower your CoG a little. But if you must, you could learn on stock stuff until you save money for coilovers. Oh, and you'll look like a retard for being the tallest car at a drift event. I certainly felt like one lol.

    ka drift?

You can but it takes some skill. I slid Desoto with stock suspension and open diff. I failed horribly for the most part. I'm waiting on my second car to sell so I can buy coilovers and a fixed back bucket seat. Those were two things I felt could help me improve the most.

    ka drift?

J30s are garbage. Their gearing is going to make your slow KA even slower. I'm personally trying to learn open diff first. A lot of people have been telling me that if you learn open, then welded will be super easy god mode once you get it. But yeah, welded>open>J30 for noobs.
