Try another switch. Mine would do that if you hit a bump. It would just go down on it's own, and keep trying to roll down until it burnt out the amp gimmick. Replaced the switch and it worked great. Hope this helps.

Do it with one of the ports facing up, or at least one of the ports at the top if mounted horizontally. I have this thing about air and crap in the system. Plus, mount it below your reservoir; which usually isn't ever a problem, just throwing it out there.
