July 8th PBIR Ter-Tech drift practice

That would be the last 2 turns of the track that are by the front gate. They are the long straight into the large right-hand sweeper with the medium left-hand transition by the pit exit.

    Not Drifting but still fun!

I meant to post this sooner but I have just been busy. For you guys out there who also like roadracing here is a short video that we put together for our team sponsor Lethal Performance.com. The video was taken a few weeks ago out at Sebring Intl Raceway. That track is so fun and bad ass I cant...

Who the hell here has a hydraulic ebrake?

I have a CNC Brakes Hydraulic Hand Brake but it is the independent reservoir one not an inline. I havent had any problems with it and really like it. What bore size is yours? Could it be that the seal is blown? I know that brake cylinders are extremely easy to ruin if they are compressed with no...

    your opinion..

ahem... NO! As for your age Yea I agree with piner and flip3d. It is to much to take on at that age when your still learning driving and drifting. If you really like the car it will crush to to wreck it. It killed me when I did and is so expensive to fix it took almost 2 years to get the body...

    your opinion..

I love mine! Relatively cheap and easy to make power, rather difficult and expensive to put it to the ground and then control it. If its just a daily great, track car, great but dont think you can beat the shit out of it like a 240. The drivetrain is good but easily broken with clutch kicks and...

Looking into this as a new venue for drifting

Not to rain on the parade but have any of you been there? Its a main public road and on top of that it is the main parking overflow for FAU as well as a main entrance to several buildings/ business. I found it a few years ago when a buddy of mine was attending. Its not that great or that big for...

Mustang Drifting Checklist: [ ] Posi/lsd Diff (GT-Cobra or aftermarket) [ ] Suspension (springs/struts/swaybars or full coil-overs) [ ] Angle... as much as you can get. (wheel spacers and remove the urethane rack limiters inside the boots - then heavy steering modifications) [ ] Power In that...

    Nitto nt555

The Nitto 555's in any size are not sticky by any means of the term, especial that low on tread. Its up to you if you want "burn them up" or save them for a track day, but I would never rely their grip level for a track event.

    How a differential works (video)

Very nice video find. Gotta love that 50's narrating Pretty much the same as an open diff except that there is a center shaft connecting the axle gears with clutch plates that hold pressure on each other until there is enough force to make them slip such as a tight turn on asphalt. But in...

Why does no one drift mustangs?

The 79-93 are the same and the 94-04 are the same but the two different groups are very different in alot of ways. Mostly engine, suspension, and brakes but yes the newer IRS should almost bolt in. It bolts in place using the solid axle bolt in mounts which have almost not changes since ford...
