Sucks that I never made it down to one. I really wanted to.. just been having car problems.. now that I have a trailer I will be able to make some further events once I get my car running so I hope we can work out something at PBIR for next year. Maybe one event every 3 months or so?

you're welcome! haha but in all seriousness, I think they are also just safer. Because the crashes are still "exciting" even with the tires there, and it definitely helps to absorb the impact. So not even thinking about the damage to the cars, it could help reduce whiplash too.

So much for everyone saying that the tires would cause more damage. So far it looks like they have saved the cars. I was only there long enough to see a guy in a white coupe go backwards into it and bounce right off, but he had like, no damage at all. but if the tires weren't there his car...

Thanks! I gained a lot of confidence since there was so much space :) I feel like this event was really great for everyone. We all got to go out and practice without worrying about wrecking and it was such a chill environment!
