Naw man, not this time. The last shop was just rolled. New shop got pressure washed, acid etched, then 3 coats in the high traffic areas. Been workin the tail off on this one, thanks Jay and Ben for helping with the prep!
He said compression and sure he was thinking vacuum. We were all n00bs at some point!
To the OP, you can put some silicone on it, shove it back in and wait for it to dry - done deal.
Thanks!
Rent is always too much lol.

This is the old shop the day we painted the floor...
Got packed quick :(
304 stainless. Used two 15 degree 1.65" ID bends to go on 1.65"OD primaries, to 1.875" secondary. Have one more to make for a 6-3-1 setup. Used the band saw to rip the bends down to merge together, welded them, then cut the end off to weld on the straight piece.
Bags aren't my thing, but whatever, still love working on cars.
Yeah Condor GRM race car. 2160lbs and 300-ish hp = fast. We are building a new car for $2011 and the e30 is going to VIR for the UTCC in July.
OK. Wanna race?

yes, that's an e30 widened almost 4" all steel fab, holset hx35 turbo, 21psi, 2.3's at 117mph, and you don't want to run us on grip racing ;)
VW guys like riding on bags, so the frame was notched and support welded back in to clear axle. Airbags with no air...
Cool pic a friend took of me during fabrication work...
