my car is red and have 5 lug hubs on the way

it sounds like it could be a vaccume leak
go to a parts store and buy a can of brake and parts cleaner and spray your intake gaskets and all other areas where vaccume would be present and if your idle changes you found a vaccume leak
alll i am saying is that my car has 200k on it and as far as i know it has the original pump in it and i run it below the e line on every tank and have had no problems
my guage goes abought the the distance between 2 lines/a quarter tank below the e line befour the light turns on.
I never heard of running the tank low causing the pump to over heat.
i also beleive that runnung your tank low is not bad because if you run it low all the time it wont have a...
the ammount of camber you run makes a big difference i am running 17/9 +35 on my s13 with -.7 camber in the rear and the wheel pokes out abought a half inch further than the body
it is all a matter of opinion some swear by the ka and others hate it it all depends on what you want to acheive is it a daily or a track car and how much power do you want to make
the search feature is your friend dont be afraid to use it
buy a good set of drill bits and start with a small one and slowly progress to you can snapp the stud off and keep the drill bit lubricated with penetrating oil
