try what is easy first it could just be a bad red cap or thermostat look at the cap and see if the ruber seals are hard or cracked they should be soft and flexable

a/c condensor produces alot of heat while using the a/c so your thermostat was probably stuck half way open and that is whi it didnt overheat with a/c off

the holes in the subframe that the motor mount bolts go thru are slotted so if if the drivers side mount is to high and the pass is to low it wil sit crooked take a look and see if they are centered out

factory spec is 6.75 degrees plus or minus .75 degrees wich means 7.5 would be within factory spec and i just looked at my alignment printout from the last alignment i did and i actually had it set at 6.7
