x2. since that hose chills above your exhaust manifold, it likes to get nice and crispy after a while. Very easy to get cracks in.

There is no problem with that at all, if he has it wired up on a relay. I've had 3 cars wired up like that and all are running perfectly fine for over a year now. The black wire with the red stripe is the fuel pump wire.

Does anything change if you unplug the injector? Mine did the same thing and then I found out it had no compresson and was blowing oil out of the exhaust. #2 is know to have problems.
