ok so i just finished a sr swap into my 89 hatch and i got it turned on and driving, but the temp gauge didnt work so i looked around and found that there was a white connector coming off the wiring harness right next to the ecu. i plugged it in and went to start my car and it didnt turn...

i read up on it and the 3 pin i have to extend and connect to the o2 sensor. and the other is unsed? gracias guys

ok so i have these 2 connectors by the throttle body and i have no idea where they plug up to... one is a 6 pin and the other is a 3 pin. if i run the harness through the back of the engine it looks like the 3 pin connects to the o2 sensor but then it brings along the tps connector and wont be...

yea i just read up on that, i dont need a dust collar so tomorrow im gonna remove it and i should be able to bolt it up. thanks for the help guys, and thanks steveka-t for that right up, it really helped

maybe like a 1/4 , its just it pivot down so its difficult and frustrating lol

yea i did that, the back half is hanging and i ush it up to line up with the diff but the end knuckle hits the edge of where the driveshaft meets the diff

was i supposed to switch the ka bell housing with the sr?

so i have discovered a new problem, when my car is idling with the clutch pedal not pressed down or when im accelerating, i hear a weird humming noise coming from the bottom of the car. When i press in the clutch pedal the noise goes away. i looked it up on google and i get 2 different responses...

replaced both the thermostat and water pump today and my 240 iis running like new. thanks for all the help

alright thanks guys, im planning on putting a new thermostat too just to be safe.

Yea lol I'm picking up the waterpump today so hopefully get my car running tomorrow. Is there a special break in I gotta do with the new water pump or just swap and I'm good?
