You dont really need a switch if you dont mind it running when you turn the key to acc. All you need is a relay. Its really easy to do there are write-ups out there just search. I think i may even have a thread somewhere for it. Ill let you know if i find it.

Just hardwire it with a relay and an inline fuse and youll be fine. Thats what I did when I put my new pump in and no problems at all.

I know this is off topic but since you can do cages does that mean you can do exhaust work?

OK i tried to push start the car and it turn on and i drove it a few feet and stayed on, didnt want to drive too far...but i still cant get it to turn on when i turn the key...

I wasn't using a test light... I was using a meter and my reading was 12.xx vdc

Looked at the harness under the driver side fender and it's not even touched

I got the starter tested and they told me it was ok, I got it tested because as of right now if I turn the key nothing happens at all with the motor. Not even spark. I checked all my fuses and no i have not done anything with my harness, I havent checked to see if im rubbing the harness...

Can I use any switched 12V source as the trigger? The B/Y wire was not working so Im guessing that I am losing the signal somewhere, but when I connect it to another source it works fine. I just wanted to check if this was ok to do.
