At the risk of going farther off-topic and feeding a flame war, I will keep it short and say nothing further afterwards. If safety were #1, we wouldn't be racing in the first place. Obviously you have to draw a boundary somewhere. Skydiving is a great example. They exercise safety, right up...- Neil_J

Personally, I think common sense prevails here, if you think you (as a spectator) think you can get that close, than good luck. It's your own damn fault if something bad happens. I got pretty close to getting hit while trying to get a few shots... But I always had an exit strategy if a car was...- Neil_J
