02 miata radio installation. Please Help

ok, its been a while since i did a radio installation. i am trying to remember if i am supposed to cross some wires. the radio is a CDX-GT340. i have 2 cables that i dont know what to do with.

Illumination - Orange
Dimmer - Orange/White
 
do nuthing i never connect those wires for the just in case factor..those wires r for ur lights etc leve them disconected
 
u can leave them disconnected...all they are for is so that when you turn on your lights at night the radio will dim a bit.

but dont cross the dimmer and illumination or youll blow out your light fuse. most cars just have a illumination but not a dimmer. Good luck
