1 injector bad AGAIN??

so car started sputtering when i turned it on one day...checked things out turns out it was injector on cylinder 3...(stockish KA)

went to the junkyard got one and put it in ran fine..

exactly a week later im getting gas, turn the car on and the same symptoms..
when i pull out any other connector it sputters but when i pull cylinder 3 nothing therefore i believe its bad...i also get current with a multimeter at the injector.

Is there any thing before the ECU and the injector..like some kind of distributor/sensor that could be sending it a bad signal

but WHY the hell would it be the same injector...Coincidence?????...Something must be causing it to go bad right?

nope it's the injector.
 
couple days after i put the original in i saw it was leaking a bit and i DID change the o rings on the bad one..all but the one that goes on the fuel rail itself i think. in total the kit came with 4 new pieces..i changed two o rings on the injector itself big and small and one that goes on top from the hat thingy with a hole in it.

didnt put the other one in...
Think it could be that one?

Call me stoopid but never heard of flushing the fuel lines..with what? seafoam,injector cleaner?

as far as not buying a new one...well im currently have a built motor with upgraded almost everything and dont wanna pay 90$ for a new one when this motor should be out of the car by the end of the year.

i think i have more experience on this than anyone here.
i had the same problem with injector 2... then changed to 4.. then 1 time the same one went bad in a matter of 2 weeks..... ive had to change rails from how bad it was.. and went threw 8 injectors.. in a matter of time...

i had it check for any shortages that can be getting caused... and nothing..
i still have not found out what it was...(but i tend to put gas once the needle is on or below the "E") and the injectors usually went bad while on very low gas..

its hasnt been giving me problems anymore.
just make sure whatever u do put gas when u reach 1/4 tank. and avoid driving on low gas...(its what i been doing for a while and everything has been good) u might be picking up dirt from the bottom of the tank

and yes clean your gas tank if u can... and add some lucas fuel system/injector cleaner..
