2 240sx questions

1. do stock s14 seatbelts hook up to a s13 without modifications?

and

2. Where is the correct location to install a boost guage on a sr. I dont mean in the car i mean on the vac hoses.

Let me know guys thanks.

wow 20 views and no post. All the 240sx owners in the world and no one posts. K guess ill have to start calling people.

seatbelts= you just have to make holes in the panels all the mounting points are there and you got to change the buckle part on the seat

boost gauge i cant be to sure i think the correct location is on the wastgate actuator but i gould be wrong ...but i think thats were it is because alot of boost controllers come with built in boos gauges and thats were they get there reading from.....anyone wanna ad to this?

A stock internally wastegated sr goes the the throttle body as well

my sr's wasgate actuator came connected to the charge pipe(cold pipe) both of my sr's????theres a lil nipple on the pipe and everything for it

The boost gauge should connect to some where on the intake manifold

wastegate is suppose to connect to the charge pipe, but some ppl connect it to the throttle body.

P.S. some of the vac connections on the throttle body go to the cold pipe and some go to the intake manifold.

Ideally you should run the waste gate from the compressor housing. The boost gauge should be connected to the intake manifold.

Manny was explaining that one night that some nipples on the throttle body are before and some are after the throttle plate. So only some of the nipples on the throttle body see vacuum.

if you connect the vac line to the waste gate actuator you wont get an accurate reading..at least i didnt.

def intake mani.

dk bout the belts.

top left nipple for the guage. the same one that goes to the fpr.

the upper right one is a bov only line on my car.

the one under the throttle plate is capped off and not used.

and the w.g. signal i have on the cold pipe, right after the i/c.

Seatbelts go in but obviously your panels aren't going to work. You can order s13 canadian seatbelts and panels though.
