Ok, this is my second hatch, and both of them leaked from the tail lights. Hell, even my boy Rays 240 has a leak from the tail lights. It seems like a common problem with 240's. The nasty humid smell that occurs after a storm isn't good for picking up girls. Yes i know, all i really got to do is open the windows and air out the car, but ide much wrather not have a leak period. Plus it gives the interior a chance to start building up rust. Anyone else have this problem? Any idea's as to how to fix it?

^thats weird i havent herd of any 240s leaking form teh tail lights.....now on teh se hatch models they leak from the gay stock spoiler in the rear...other then that other common problems are leaking threw the seals from teh hatch...

I had the same problem. I got new weather stripping for the hatch. I also picked up some 180SX tails and installed them with a extra amount of the black sticky stuff that you put on around the taillight. After that it didn't leak any more.

Yeah, I want to get the 180SX tail lights eventualy but short on cash right now. I was thinking about going to the store and buying some Silicone, and just sealing up around the lights where the leaks at. Not sure.

you could do that but your going to need to put alot of silicone on it and it might just turn out to be one big mess.

^I recommend taking the lights off and with a new roll of the black sticky crap they put on there....CLEAN the lights and the hatch part of the car its going to take you a long time but you can get it off....after the cleaning is done add the new black **** and put on the rear lights.....bammo stock form and shoudl last another 10 years?

I used CLEAR Silicon on Sentra SE-R With the same problem. But Silicon may case rust. I would use The Black Windsheild Silicon and pull the tail lights out and go at it.

im pretty sure napa or advanced auto parts will have it...if not then resort to your local dealership, but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for it...

oh yay.... what joy... hopefully napa will have it... its hard to drive stick with only one leg and arm :-\
