240sx headlights having pop up problem!

ok so when i go to turn on my head lights.
if i turn the headlight switch up to low beams
nothing happens lights come on headlights stay down.
but when i hit my high beams while low beams are on they pop up...
if i switch back to low beams the lights go down...
so if i turn on my headlights i have to hit my pop up button and lights will stay up on low beam if i hit my low beams on... but with high beams it pops up..

also when i hit my pop up button without lights on the lights go up then back down.

so does anyone know a remedy for this problem im having?

sounds like your relays may be bad

in my single cam when i hit the pop up button they just went up and down as for the headlight switch it could be the relay and if not might be your headlight switch i know i was having some what same problems in my 91

Check Relays & the Switch on the column. Usually one of those will remedy it.
