I know this has been done before, but i wanted to know if any of you guys have any knowledge of the swap EX. what tranny to use?
The 3sgte is from a 97 MR2 from japan upgraded turbo, cams and pistons
Any Ideas?

dam, i would have just kept the engine in the MR2 and driven that...

Why go through all the trouble of 3sgte swap. Better yet trade me the rolla and some money for my ca18/s13. I keep my wheels though.

All motor ftw b1tches! If you want another motor in your AE86, I'd rather do a 3SGE. Why, you ask? The AE86 gets it's true feeling through a NA setup. Turbocharging, or using other turbocharged engines will over power the chassis, and it will not feel like an AE86. But that is just me. If you want to do a turbo swap, using a more proven motor, such as an SR20, should have great results. Just my 2 cents.
