2 things.

The wheels you see 99% of the time are FN01R-C's. The "C's" means they are the cast version. The ones on that white car are FN01R's - they are the original monoblock forged versions. They are super light-weight and cost more than 2x as much as the cast versions.

Also, there is no difference of lip on those wheels as far as I can tell.

yeah i noticed the lip its minimal but its there. i am pretty sure Ant is right becuase depending on the wheel design and manufacture decision if the wheel has a lip, depending on the offset. FNo1rs are common to not have lip and have a deep dish look which simply just pushes the spokes in. i think that its just a different version of the wheel with out the deep dish. same idea applies to the TE37s i regularly see them with a dish design and no lip. but after some searching there are different models that give the wheel more lip instead of dish. hope that helps cus i suck at explaining things.

The sunken face fn's are the 17x10's and 18x9.5's (more so with the 17x10's).

FN01r's (forged version) are not discontinued afaik - they're just not readily available in the states since the FN01rc's flooded the market.
