Hello guys,

I have my 89 240sx Hatch Project i call this one " El Condor Pasa", so my problem is that i have the KA motor 2.4liter from 89 and my S13 hatch is Automatic.

How can I Remove or Convert from Automatic to 5 Speed Manual, I understand about swapping transmission but how can you install the pedals specially the clutch pedal How??

Do I have to find first 1 S13 5speed and take that Clutch pedal or is something more than just the Clutch Pedal, probably get the whole/complete Bracket that comes with the 3 pedal clutch, brake and gas pedal together.

What Do I to Remove from the S13 5 speed car and put it to my 89 S13 Hatch, What parts I need to Remove.

I'm not going to use the KA Motor from my S13 Hatch, I will go with the SR20DET Motor Complete Swap with the 5 speed Tranny, so for that I need to convert the pedal from automatic to 5 speed.

What should I remove from 1 S13 5 speed and put it on my 89 240SX Hatch thanks...
Anyone has done it, hope to hear from you guys thanks....

this is my automatic S13 hatch picture.

after your tear out that insulation on the firewall you will see a peice on the firewall that shows where the 2 mounting bolt holes are and where the clutch master boot and rod pass though. Use a drill on the bolt holes with the appropreiate size, i think i used 3\8ths or 5\16ths something like that.

There should be a mounting bracket thingy if you look up. When you pull the clutch pedal out of the donor car you will see a 12mm bolt up top holding the whole assembly up..... well your automatic has that same mounting location, drill your holes in the firewall to pass the master cylinder through and bolt the stuff up. Just pay attention to when you take the clutch pedal out of the donar car at teh junkyard, you should have no issues.

be sure that there are no sharp edges where the clutch master cylinder passes through the firewall, you dont want it to cut the boot while you are shifting.

u neeed 5 speed hardlines for the master cylinder to slave, clutch footpedal, clutch master cylinder, and just cut your brake pedal n half ;)

sumthing else u gotta do to the harness for it to start but chek other sites im not sure about it cause ive tryd auto to manual befor n falied :(

How long it takes approx. time to do the job from the donor and install it to my Car 89 S13.

Is that very Difficult to do that Swap Conversion from Automatic to 5 Speed... For Real oh man, Has anyone done it Before and success....100%

I need Help Big time.

yea ive done it on my car, i think we had a total of 10-11 hours in it, not working redilously fast either. Its rather easy on a s13\14. pull the transmission out, make sure you have a badass impact for the flywheel bolts, and make sure you have the correct TO bearing and a new pilot bushing if you have a slide hammer tool to get the origional one out.

240SicknessX: you got any pics when you done the conversion...need some help here.

Ok can you guys make a List what do I need to Remove from the Donor S13 5 speed manual system for my 89 S13 hatch automatic so I can do the swap...

Hopefully Tomorrow or Thursday I'm going to look around for some Hatch 240SX S13 that has the 5 speed manual system...

Ok i don't have to use the Impact Suckets for the Donor S13 Hatch only for my Hatch S13.. or I have to use the Impact Suckets for both Cars.

Dan I don't need the 5 Speed Tranny, I'm not going to use the KA Motor not at all...

All i want to do is just :
How Do I install the Clutch Pedal or how can I put all the pedals from 1 donor 5 speed car and swap it to my s13 hatch 240sx automatic car.

I have the automatic Tranny i don't need it... I will get the SR20DET Motor complete with the harness, ECU, Tranny 5 speed everything that comes together with the SR20DET.

All I want to do is just install the Complete 3 Pedals from a Donor 5 speed car S13 to my Automatic S13 car. Nothing else so that way is ready waiting for the SR20DET Motor swap that comes with the 5 speed tranny, ECU, wire harness, Hoses..and much more.

I want to get my Clutch Pedal.

oh easy, there are 2 bolts on the clutch master cylinder under the hood against the firewall, take those off, take the little pin off the clutch pedal underneath the dash and unscrew the bolts that hold it up, take the pedal out, take the clutch master cylinder out, go under the car and take the hard line that goes to slave cylinder from the master clyinder and take the slave too while youre at it.

then to install, you will see after you remove all that tar crap you were asking about in the other thread, there are areas marked on the firewall for you to cut out for the stuff to fit, just cut and drill and install the opposite way you took the pedal and master cylinder out with

Bleh another SR ricer...

J/k man

if you are going to swap...go RB20det FTW! 220hp stock and you can get the clip for $1250

Ok cool Dan ,

but so far All I need to remove from the Donor S13 hatch is 1ST Remove the Clutch Master Cylinder underneath the hood.

2nd take the pin off the clutch pedal later i have unscrew the bolts that holds it up so Clutch Pedal is Out Right.

3rd what you mean in removing the hard line is the line where the Clutch Fluid goes from the Clutch Master Cylinder to the Slave Cylinder and take the Slave too right.

Ok Nothing else I need to Remove only 4 parts and thats all.

What about if I remove the Brake Pedal from the Donor after I Remove the Clutch Pedal, You think is better keeping my big Brake Pedal from my Automatic S13 Hatch or should i get better the small brake pedal from the Donor S13 Hatch at the Junk Yard after I remove the Clutch Pedal.

Let me know if there is any Difference between the Automatic big Brake Pedal S13 or the Small brake pedal 5 speed car S13.

Dan I just want to make sure I don't have to Touch my Automatic Big brake pedal or at least my gas pedal, I dont' have to move it to the sides or something... Let me know if there is something else I need to Remove from the Donor S13 hatch in order to install the Clutch Pedal or I have to get the brake pedal too and the gas pedal too..

Is gonna be ok using my Automatic Big brake pedal and my gas pedal from my Automatic S13 hatch.

Let me know about it,

Thanks guys.

RB20det no way for $1250 I will rather get the RB26DET Complete Motor Swap with the RB25det manual transmission for the RWD system(the RB25det is the 5 speed tranny right and is not an AWD only RWD Right!!...)

it's all about how much work you wanna do and if you care or not about having to look at a cut brake pedal. I didn't care about the look, so we just cut half of the pedal off. You don't have to move anything over, I am just lazy and wanted it done already so we cut the brake pedal. There is no difference except one is a cleaner look IMO.

yeah dan was ghetto, just get a brake pedal looks really clean, and it only takes 5 minutes more, I did my auto to manual swap in one hour and thirty minutes, ask the nook.
