97 KA into s13, what do i need?

hey guys, what do i need to drop a 97 ka into a 92 coupe? and is 300 dollars fair for a 97 motor with 90k, but the guy is giving me new valve stem seals due to the ones on being bad. lmk guys, need this info asap;) thx
 
yea dats def. good.. make sure thats the only bad thing in the motor. i actually got mine for the same price.... and if ur asking wat to change for the swap. all i changed was intake manifold. some say upper intake manifold (s14) and lowe intake manifold from s13 due to some sensor. and something about butterflies in the s14 one i think,
 
u need a S13 distributor, the S14 one wont work(so iv read). sounds like a decent price, and ask if he will go lower if he says yes then save ur self a few bucks if no then hey u tried :)
 
I think the vacuum lines on the s14 differ from the s13 motor. Thats an issue but simple to find out.
 
i have a motor in my car right now, but i bought it and the kid said something about the crank needing to be taken to a machine shop. but the motor has high milage and dont want to put it trought the abuse, rather get lower milage motor and be safe. so i would have all the accesories to go on the s14 block. also how would i find out whats wrong with the motor i got in now. i kinda want to rebuild it or something. i have decent knowladge of cars but this is my first tear down of a car and trying to build it from ground up. nothing fancy yet just get it all runing then get all the goodies.


and are valve stem seals hard to replace?

well am not a nissan tech. but from wat ur telling us that he told u. its def. not good. make sure he didnt blew the crank thru the block lmao. but the only way to check that ( i think ) is ripping the block apart. if you want nothing fancy i say. just get a good reliable KA ( rare) and try drifting with that. get used to it first. if wat u want is more power but dont want to spend on a sr. then boost the ka. but u wont get much out of it.
 
i want to OEM rebuild the bad motor i have right now and boost it. and i know that with a good tune i can easily have 220 hp. and im satisfied with that. but how would i find out whats wrong with the bad motor i have on right now.
