i know of a place in hialeah that does rim repair and i saw them do some shit close to that....not sure if they widen per-say but u could probably have it done (not cheap tho)

The problems with widening a 1 piece wheel are:
-Most the time they are cast. Not many people can weld cast(if any) and have it hold up to driving/road forces.

- You are in effect making the offset HIGHER as you are only increasing the width of the barrel on the side closer to the inside of the vehicle. Therefore a 17x7 +35 becomes a 17x9 +86~ If my math is correct. 1" = 25.4mm IIRC.

I would think it cost maybe 200 per wheel? I would take that 800 save up another 400 sell the wheels you have and then buy a really nice set, that's just me.
