afc neo on s13 kade

so wired all of the wires up except the orange, everywere i look it tells me to wire it to a "some kind of positive that runs the headlights or dimmer switch" wtf is that? lol anybody knows were i can wire this too??

yea thats wat i read everywere, and im gonna have to extend that and thennnn run it to the afc, but um do u by anychance know wat color that is on the stock radio harness?

Ok well i dunno if this might help but...

My gauges have that wire that needs to run to headlights. THe reason for that is because when u turn on ur lights, that means that its dark outside, so what happens is when u turn them on, ur afc will dim and that way it's not all bright in ur face. I never hooked up mine.

To be completely honest you don't need that to make the AFC work, It just makes it Dim Up/Down when you turn on your lights at night. The wire you need is easiest to access off the back of the radio. What year is your S13?

lol na i actually got an afc not because im boosted, but because im rele interested in learning to tune and everyone tells me this is the easiest product to start learning on and on top of that i got it at a crackhead price
