Seibon changes each hood they copy a little bit. All it is, is a hood with vents on it, it's hard to press charges against it because everyone has made hoods with vents in them for ever now. I have a Seibon hood on my rx7, and I've seen the original they copied in person, they change the vent opening shape and the size of each vent. All seibon has to say in court is, "ok, you say we stole this design, but now look at this other companies design, it looks almost the same as yours, should we call them to press charges on you too?" Its JUST a hood with vents.
 
its kinda like what are we going to school for, thats def a reason why many people would rather go into medical and business fields than engineering anymore, its a sad sight actually

I completely agree with your last sentence, but people are going to be people. They think they deserve the best, at the best prices. It's kind of the same thing as all those chicks you see with the fake Luis Button purses, that they bought at the Opa Locka flee(not that I could tell the difference :rolleyes:).

just like copywritten pictures and images, for someone else to use them without repercussion, they'd have to be modified to some extent, with pictures its at least 60%, not sure about parts tho
 
Luckily my wheels arent replicas of anything than OE steel wheel designs lol
and my front "aero" is an E's Factory Type 3 lip lmao...haha
And luckily I was able to get the Origin Lab FRP...and GAB oldschool srut bar.
I mean if u think about it I dont even think the small Japanese company GAB is even around anymore...
Maybe one day Origin Lab or Vertex wot be around either...
But yeah i get what the Bespoke cat is saying...
