look, id rather have the fc, that this topic was started with, then have a stock clean car. what is not to understand?

i grew up around zip ties and improvising. i drove around for a week having a ratchet strap as a tension rod. i always zip tied my bumpers. i even used zip ties to keep intercooler piping from popping off one night. thats how i grew up in drifting. at my age, if you didnt have some sort of dent, zip tie hanging off, or missing part, then you were a ricer and you didnt drift. im a kid and im not a D1 driver. im going to crash. there is no way around it. i would take a drift beater any day.
 
^LMAO my whole car is held toghter with zipties but it isn't a drift beater by anymeans. Honestly your stupid if you want a broke ass car over a clean ride. A broken car dosn't show that you can drift it shows you cant. Theres alot of guys here that drift with mad clean cars and they kill shit and they dont hit the wall. Hitting the wall and being proud of it is just retarted it shows driver error not a ability to drift. LMAO
 
Reason the car wont go wide, it still has DTSS... Simple.. But other than that its fairly stock with a tuned ECU and some extra boost... If he lost the DTSS his problems would be solved..

The car looks sick, I love the ameri-boso styling.

you know what, your right. thats the difference between how you see drifting and how i see drifting. i see the japanese street drifting side and you see the american close circuit side. but i still stand by what i said. and i didnt say that everyone needs to have a shitty looking car to be a good drifter. what i said was at my age you needed to have a shitty looking car to get better at drifting. the dents and scrapes just show how much fun you had drifting. but if you can drift a clean car then you have already gone threw some cars and i respect that.

btw, on other forums, my sig is the picture from when i crashed into the mountain. im proud about it because i learned a valuable lesson that day about shit talkers who cant drift (im not saying anything toward you and i dont mean it as a threat in anyway. im just trying to prove a point about learning from my mistakes).

How old are you? And are you saying that a certain age should have a car that they crashed all up trying to drift? You said "at my age you needed to have a shitty looking car to get better at drifting."? How does having a shitty looking car get you to drift better? What about us that have never crashed?
 
Lets not fucking argue... Most people cant afford to drift spotless fucking BMWs and drive FD's as dailys... But we have fun doing it. If your hating because his shit looks beat up, its a drift only car, not some show quality shit box...

Drifting is about style, not cleanliness... Well not until the VIP scene hit drifting anyway... Now its about big wheels and shiny paint.

I'm not hating on anyone. I just stated that that car is really beat. Then it turned into an argument about it's "supposed to be beat its a drift car" and "cars need to be beat to learn to drift" etc. I'm not saying anyones car has to be clean or anything.
