Yea, so I have illusions of my car being finished in time, but with all the variables, It probably wont be.

So I'm looking to rent (yes, I will pay monies) a decent driftable car.

The car will be trailered to the event, and cared for well.

I would like something with 200 or more crank hp, but this is not super necessary. Decent suspension, coilovers a plus. Some sort of diff, if your car has an open diff, I will weld it free of charge, or swap in a welded one. If your car has steering stops on the control arms I would like permission to cut them off (free mods for juu: yay!!). 5lug would be great since I have a bunch of wheels, but I can get 4 lug wheels too.

I am already registered for the event. Hopefully it's not a waste of money.

**** maybe If nothing comes through I'll hook up a handbrake in the Dually, run single rear wheels and try to qualify in that.

ok people lets be serious he really needs the car and if you havent seen him drive i can see he i very good. hes driven the ter tech bmw very well and can get into any car and drive like his own

Sean, post up some of your experience to assure people that their car will come back in one piece. I think that's the main concern to anyone thinking about handing you their cars.

damn .. sorry to say but i think maybe 2 cars on this forum have cages and they are both from ter-tech probably


you can use my car, it's got one of the requirements = lsd. its a sohc automatic so i dunno how close to 200chp that is. and no cage or suspension :-(

you can beef the motor up and and make it 5sp and add a cage in it and i won't charge you anything if you want.

Well I have a few leads so far. Still some issues with each one, like needing to put roll cages in etc.

Thats messed up that you clowns deleted my post! I'd be happy to lend him the supra but as alchemist said, very few cars on this forum meet the requirments for real competition. Ray was right, This forums getting wack. You people are starting to delete posts just because you feel like deleting them. Thats ****ed up.
 
I'll vouch for him. He has yet to crash or brake a car. I would let him drive my car any day of the week. Extremely talented driver who has a serious chance to qualify for FD.

And who ever borrows his car to SEAN HAS A LIFE TIME FREE ENTRANCE TO ALL TER-TECH EVENTS TO COME. Little extra motivation, also we will build the 6 point cage for free and maybe pay half the price of piping, for the right car.

ProjectRB26DETT, it has to be a working car THAT is why your post got deleted, this thread is for the renting of a WORKING car not fixer uppers, you know the condition of your car, would you drive that car at a ny event? did you think that Sean was going to fix ALL of those problems for you? Dude he ain't that desparete for a car and it seems that you are the only one benefiting of the situation.

My car needs a little TLC here and there but I'll provide all the parts (which I already have). I am willing to give a hand fixing it all as well.

He can count on the Boosted3 if he needs it, but he already seems to have a better plan (which I'm hoping it works out at the same time).
 
Just wanted to say thanks again Erick. Looks like it will be either my car, your car, or Sean-NeedCAforS13's car ( S12 with KA ).

If not my car, I am leaning toward Seans car simply because I have driven it and liked the way it handled. So I feel confident I can make it happen.

Big thanks again, and I'll let you know as soon as I decide.

BTW this is totally awesome to get so much support from everyone, I really really appreciate it. Huge thanks to everyone who has offered to lend a car and/or help me out with this goal!!

yeah all sean needs is a cage and some heat insulation so your shoes dont melt to the floor boards ouch...
