i believe carmax pays 75% of the bluebook value so you cant get full value of your car through carmax.

yea they offered me 3k for my 98 tahoe fully loaded,tv's and 24's lol you know what i told them to do right?
i bought a 2000 celica GTS from them for like $12k
10k miles and several strange accidents later, i brought it back to them and they gave me $9k. I like carmax.
here are a couple strange things that have happened..
a week after i bought the car, the factory hood scoop flew off while doing 80 because i guess there were no nuts holding it down. bought one of a forum member that was blue and rattle canned it white to match the car.
i hit a raccoon on 95 doing maybe 85. it destroyed the radiator, ac condenser, fans, under plastics, and ripped the front lip off the car. $300 on ebay later, the car looked normal.

Yo when he first told me that happened i was like what?!?!?! It was crazy and then i had went up to visit and we rode out on a cold ass night with no radiator fans and a water and water wetter in the radiator. My sis was like i cant believe you two. Idk why you ever gave that car up scott. That thing was awesome besides the fact the you could only put in 93.
