As we all know, plenty of people here need tires for the wonderful sport of drifting, and the best places to go for tires to burn are at local tire shops to their waste bins. Well, my store, Tire Kingdom, at 2600 Pine Island road ( Sheridan & Pine Island (same as douglas)) has installed a video surveilance system. It is not your fault, there are plenty of people illegally dumping tires at our location and many other stores too. The cameras are set up to catch the guys that are dumping tires at our store, which costs and up to 2-5k monthly.

In other words, my tire shop has already installed cameras, and many others probably plan on doing it or already have. Taking tires from a tire shop is already illegal, but it does not really have a big impact on the tire shop itself, it is the illegal dumping of tires that has them pissed off. If anyone is caught dumping tires, taking tires, or tresspassing on any location without permission. You can and possibly will be prosecuted. It is up to the tire shop and the local police station what they want to do if you are caught.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TAKING TIRES. AND IF YOU DO, TRY CONTACTING THE MANAGER AND SEE IF YOU CAN GRAB USED TIRES WITH THEIR CONSENT!

It's really just been getting serious because people dump tires, sometimes 100-200 at a time. To dispose of each tire costs $3 for us and that is what we charge you. So imagine, $300-$600 in one night x 3 or 4 nights a week. It gets expensive. I'm just telling you guys to be careful. Some shops have the police circle their shop every night and they won't be nice if they catch a drifter scavenging for tires. My manager left the shop late the other day and they almost arrested him lol...

I'm just getting the word out because, people go at night for tires and will have to pay for the actions of the people that are doing wrong towards the shop.
 
true that if u get used tires u should at least take the trip to the dump and properly dispose of them
 
I actually ask the guy inside first before i take them then i go inside and tell him how many i took
