auto tranny crossmember

Can it be used on a 5 speed swap? I searched went through threads in Nico and read about if you flip(reverse) the cross member, it'll be able to fit in. Is that right? Has any one tried this before.

I'm only asking this because its getting hard finding the MT one.

ebay is a rip for parts like that but if you cant get any where else you dont ahve a choice. i have never seen this done or ever heard of this even beeing attempted. ive done several 5 spd swaps and i really dont think it will work there has to be someone on here parting out a 240 there always is

you need to flip it and oval out the 4 holes .... eventhough this is not perfect.... if you have s14 crossmember they are at different hieghs, the passenger side is lower than the drivers side s13's are the same but notas much of a difference, it can be done but not worth it
60 bucks is nothing really to modify your car and you can get one from junkyards for 10 dollars

it is not worth the hassle of trying to modify the auto bracket, i tried to drill-oval mine out when i did my swap but wound up just getting a manual one, it will be close if you oval it out, and you can more then likely get away with it, but for the strength and reliability i just got the manual one. hope it helps.
