Has anyone here been to Automotive School? If so, what school? I need advice. Thanks.

apply at a dealership, start as a lube tech if they like you in less then a month they will move you up, thats what i did at toyota, i mean besides the fact that i told them i would leave it they didnt move me from being a lube tech, cause changing oil all day SUCKS ass.

Do yourself a favor. Stay in school. Goto College. Get a angster ass degree and job stack money and goto Tech school in the evening after college.

With Dealers offerinf longer warrenty periods and less people bringing NON Warrenty cars to the dealer money is little to none.

If you really have your mind/heart set goto Tech school and continue on with College and get a Degree and run the shop become a foreman/ manager.

Just remember people with Clean hands make more money.

yo word up ...i went to apex tech in new york an the only thing it gave me was a BIG student loan bill...if ur gonna spend the money go to a really good school were youll learn more than how to give a car an oil change....lol...but if i was gonna do it over i would just apply some jiffy lube or goodyear(sucks) as an oil tech cause thats the only job you will be qualified to do...besides 99% of places ive been to will take experiance over some certificate saying you can fix cars...an thats real talk...
