Autopower cage? other makes?

He pretty much hit it on the head. Don't expect a hook up unless you are like gooood friends with the person. Building a cage is ALOT of work.

Even if u try to save money and try do it yourself like i did
I spent $500 on tubeing and like $1200 on tools this incuded a nice welder, u get to keep the tools but it took us like 5 days .
Lots of work but the 2nd one should be easyer and cheaper.

i had an autopower and in my subaru.
an autopower cage saved my life, at the least prevented me from getting seriously hurt..
when i get another cage it will be an autopower if not a full weld in

^ zoli how in the hell did you buy a decent welder, pipe bender, and grinder and so for 1200? What type of welder? Im in the market now for one.

^And jerm I cheated by mounting my cage uncentered and all the way to the drivers side mostly because im fat and it doesnt bother me much at all. A real cage built to my request would be way more comfy. I would deff do mini nascar style door bars pretty much like jlo's And deff through the dash (finally say fuck the a/c while staging).

Dan Chilton Welding. real deal kinda stuff.

Dan is the best.....i have a full weldin autopower cage that dan and i made some changes to as we put it in....it was a good fit ...we made our own door bars though...get kit minus door bars

I do remember reading the reason why the mustang failed with a bolt in setup was due to the bars pushing thru the floorboard
