Battery Isolater

El Abe

How you feeling?
Driver
Am looking for a good battery isolater where can i get one for a good price? thanks in advance..

your alternator may not handle that much load.. ull might end up frying it.. just make sure ur voltage while the car is on stays at a contsant 14VDC.. if not your alt is working hard all the time

Am guessing some of you don't know what am talking about..Just to get things cleared up...Am moving the battery behind the driver seat.. Instead of connecting all the cables(Starter, fusebox, etc.) by wrapping them up with tape. I know they a little box that you connect everything to it then you run a cable from the battery to the isolater box...

if u have 1 batt ur just relocating it u dont need a isolator
the alt puts out 14.4vdc w 80 amps so
a red top and atruck batt w a 3farad cap works grat
i havent had trouble yet and i ve run it this way in all my s13
this is my 4th one
see i also add a cable to the alt
i jump it to the pos terminal
so it does have to work thru the car to charge it

Move It Then

You Can Make One Or Use One From A 91 Bubble Chevy
They Have One On Pass Side For Extra Conn.
It Seems A Waste To Buy Something U Dont Need
An Isolator Is For 2 Batts. It Switches Charge From 1- 2 The Other
